About MB Aviation

Whether you are taking the controls for the first time, looking to gain you're private pilots license, or brushing up and adding to your existing piloting skills, MB Aviation Ltd provides expert instruction and coaching. We offer training in our aircraft or yours, ensuring a safe, confident, and professional learning environment. We focus on only a very small number of students at a time to ensure good availability, and lessons are available seven days a week.

Meet the team
Mark Badminton
Chief Instructor
Raised in an RAF family, Mark has been flying and instructing for over 25 years. He around 6000 hours flying time on over 80 types ranging from two stroke flexing microlight to light twins. Around half that time has been instructing. He has served on the General Aviation Safety Council and a range of other committees and is a CAA examiner. He enjoys European touring in his Vans RV6 and has a soft spot for vintage aviation. Away from flying he runs a property business and enjoys spending time with family on his smallholding.
Alfie Badminton
Operations
Alfie has been around airfield all his life, and gained his license on his 17th birthday. He enjoys flying a range of aircraft and is working towards gaining an instructor rating. He has toured several times around Europe. Away from flying he is a senior sous chef in a Michelin standard restaurant and enjoys anything with an engine and walks with his basset hound.
